Culligan to Open Regional Headquarters in Rwanda
Culligan was established 80 years ago with one simple goal – to treat water. Today, that goal is the same, only bigger, as we strive to provide safe drinking water to communities all over the world.
Facilitating Clean Water in Rwanda
Muddy, contaminated water is common in Rwanda and the surrounding region, leaving many communities without access to clean water.
Recently, Culligan announced plans to set up regional headquarters in Kigali, Rwanda – now the 95th country to have an established Culligan presence. For many in the area, this is the first they’ve heard of Culligan.
The announcement came during the inauguration ceremony of the Nzove 2 water treatment plant, built by Culligan. Rwandans and many other communities across the region need better access to clean water, and this new water treatment plant, with state-of-the-art Culligan technology, is only the beginning.
Plans to expand operating capacity at Nzove 2 and rehabilitate Nzove 1 with Culligan omni-filtration systems are in the works – the expansion could nearly quadruple water production capacity in under a year.
Commitment to Clean Water
Culligan is proud to have provided world-class service and innovative water treatment solutions for the last 80 years, and we’re committed to helping communities around the world improve access to clean drinking water.
